Earlier this month, GMC announced the addition of the Elevation trim to the 2019 Sierra lineup. The new 2019 GMC Sierra Elevation will be based on the double cab model in two- and four-wheel-drive configurations.
The new Sierra Elevation sits on standard 20-inch aluminum wheels and lights the surrounding road with high-intensity LED headlamps with the C-shaped “light-blade” lighting elements, C-shaped LED elements in the taillights, and LED fog lamps. Distinguishing exterior features include monochromatic bumpers, door handles, and grille surround.
The new Elevation model is highly capable with a Traction Select System and an optional X31 Off Road Package. This package offers unique suspension tuning, Hill Descent Control, a heavy-duty air filter, locking rear differential, and more.
The standard engine on the Sierra Elevation is the new 2.7-liter turbocharged engine, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission; this engine pumps out 310 horsepower and 348 lb-ft of torque. The Elevation trim is also available with the next-generation 5.3-liter V8 engine, matched with an eight-speed automatic gearbox. This engine delivers superior efficiency thanks to a Dynamic Fuel Management. Finally, early next year, GMC will offer a new 3.0-liter turbo-diesel inline six-cylinder engine married to a 10-speed automatic transmission.
The new Sierra Elevation will be available soon at Wright Buick GMC. To learn more, feel free to stop by or give us call.
