The Buick Envision is one of the newest members of the Buick family, but it already has some updates for 2019. With the next model year, the Envision will come with a more sculpted front and rear, a new signature grille, and new wheel options.
Many of these updates stem directly from current Envision owners.
“Some of the 2019 Envision’s most notable changes are the results of listening to our customers,” said Elizabeth Pilibosian, Envision chief engineer. “Beneath the updated exterior are a number of changes guided by a goal of offering the most refined and pleasant driving experience possible.”
Drivers wanted a better-performing engine and transmission, which is why the 2019 model will come with a nine-speed automatic transmission for its 2.0-liter turbocharged engine. In addition, this engine will have an increased output of 252 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. This will let the 2019 Envision reach 60 mph about half a second faster than the 2018 model.
Owners also indicated that they wanted more control over some of the Envision’s features, which is why it will come with an engine stop/start deactivation switch, the ability to switch between Adaptive Cruise Control and conventional Cruise Control, and other flexible options.
If you can’t wait to try out the Buick Envision, you can find the 2018 model here at Wright Buick GMC, and we will be sure to have the 2019 version as soon as it is available.
