The 2019 Buick Regal GS is set to make its predecessors look like little more than casual Sunday drivers. The upcoming model is confirmed to bear a new engine that delivers more horsepower than ever before. While not all of the details have been released just yet, Buick did reveal some crucial information in a preview article not long ago.
Unlike its predecessors, 2019 Buick Regal GS performance will be ran by a 3.6-liter V6 engine that delivers an impressive 310 hp. While the article didn’t include other powertrain details, such as torque, the mere confirmation of a V6 engine is enough to get many enthusiasts excited.
Buick also revealed that all-wheel drive will come standard. An Interactive Drive Control system and continuously variable dampening control system will make their way to the road as well. Drivers will have access to Sport, Touring, and GS driving modes. If all goes well, the 2019 Buick Regal GS will also feature an aggressive design and unique styling cues.
The current Buick Regal GS comes stocked with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that delivers 259 hp. While that’s nothing to scoff at, the thought of a more powerful V6 engine under the hood is certainly something to think about.
We at Wright Buick GMC can’t wait for the arrival of the 2019 Buick Regal GS.
