Grab your keys and make it your goal to attend as many as possible this year. Here are a few can’t-miss Fourth of July concerts in Pittsburgh recommended by us here at Wright Buick GMC.
Three Rivers Regatta
While the Three Rivers Regatta is holding most of its festivities in August, the official Fourth of July celebration will take place at Point State Park. The concert begins at 12:30 pm with a group of high school students known as the East End Kids. Next up is Stampede, a country-rock band, followed by Gone South, a classic rock band. Jimbo & the Soupbones will set the tone with fun, soul, and blues tunes.
Big Butler Fair
Running from July 1st through July 9th, the Big Butler Fair will feature everything from square dancing to harness racing. Local bands and individuals will also perform their own showing. The Freedom Fest will kick off the festivities on opening night. A second free concert will take place on the Fourth of July.
Food, games, and festivities begin at noon on July 4th in Mt. Lebanon Main Park. The Tres Lads will take the stage at 7:30 pm to put on a free concert. They’ll play some fan-favorite folk music until the firework show at 9:30 pm.
